"Dear Thoughtful,

"You know, others have tried all this in the past. Their strategy wasn't right, nor was their overall message and they didn't have websites! You have built a fantastic website and your message... spot on. Without you we'd be screwed, to put it bluntly.

"I bow to your marketing and web skills and just watch the hits meter tick over. I think you are at just about a minimum of a 1,000 clicks a day. Between the websites of you and your like-minded friends, a fantastic amount of interest is being generated.

"But you started the true voice of the middle path, before you there wasn't one. The stuff on the web was HORRIBLE. So us "middle-pathers" are in your debt and that's the truth.

"Somehow the message you intended to portray -- the "I'm pro LRH and Scientology but against the Miscavigology" -- comes across so well. Its an important stable datum for me in these crazy times and I think that is true for a lot of other similar-minded people, the rational guys who managed to keep their sanity and not give in to the urge to hate it all, when so many others went very that route under the stress. I don't blame those guys, most of them are victims of terrible abuse, I just don't like their sites and blogs because they would throw out the baby with the bath water.

"In time, I think many of the more angry victims will be won over. In time they will realize that just because they were brainwashed and abused by David Miscavige doesn't mean it was the tech or LRH that did it. Today, you are actually setting a good example by using Scientology to fix Scientology and blow the whistle on a psychotic dictator.

"So, in case I never said it, THANK YOU!"

"I just wanted to say that I REALLY like the scientology-cult.com website. The data is really informative and I really appreciate each new posting. I check daily for new things on this website.

"The recent postings from T. PAINE and THOUGHTFUL are excellent. I especially like the posting about WHAT IS SCIENTOLOGY REALLY and the posting about FAMILY RIGHTS. I think THOUGHTFUL is spot on for posting the article about what Scientology is really. There are various people who join the bandwagon who are antagonistic to the whole subject. They are free to have their views, but I appreciate the fact that we have an unbiased approach to the whole subject that can differentiate the facts from the opinion and put things into perspective and proper context.

"I myself LOVE SCIENTOLOGY and LRH and hate the fact that COB brings down the whole subject by his actions. So really laying it out for people to see who the right target is in this situation is helpful and needed. People in my immediate life are willing to throw the whole subject in the trash because of the wrongdoings of COB and it’s a damn shame. So I hope these postings might shed some light and get them to see that they don’t need to be haters.

"Thank you to all for putting this website up and taking the time to spread the TRUTH. I am regularly promoting this website to people I know! Keep it coming!"

"I just read that new site www.scientology-cult.com (a friend sent it to me) and I want to thank you for all that you are doing. I can tell that you, as well as some others I know, are writing the truth finally.

"I agree completely with your goals and purposes and with the information and observations that are laid out in those articles. If you need any help or support I will be happy to help where I can.

"I always thought if regular public Scientologists knew the truth about what DM was doing behind the scenes, they would be outraged and demand his removal. As more and more of his abuses become public knowledge, maybe we can finally get the good works of the Scientology Tech being used more to help people. Afterall, that is why many of us got involved in the first place -- to help people.

"If the image of Scientology were handled, DM removed and the Tech and Policy used properly in a humane way, there is no reason for the Tech to become as big if not bigger than Microsoft. And what a better place this world would be!"

  ###

"To the authors of Scientology-cult.com, thank you. Reading through it all I have gained much better understanding as to why I felt compelled to leave the church recently.

"I have no personal encounters with David Miscavige save my appeal to him in writing to help call off the dogs who were preventing me from doing my job. The respond was an instant route to the RPF. Well, my sneaking suspicion about who is nuts is fully confirmed thanks to the good people like yourselves.

"I keep asking myself what constructive action could I take to help restore the wealth of Scientology tech and get it back to where it belongs, the people. In your actions I sense an inevitable victory and would hate to be just an onlooker."

 ###

"I left Sea Org in the early 1980s after a botched Ethics handling.  I wrote Heber in 1984 and resigned from the Church after hearing about the "gang bang Sec Checks" that David Miscavige was involved in. It was Black Scientology and I wanted no more association with a group that was being run by a man who would use that on his own staff.

"I attended the 19th ACC which Ron ran with the help of Nibs and the Halperns. He gave a lecture about the "Frankenstein Monster Effect" where you build a machine and then put it on automatic. Although he didn't mention Scientology specifically, it was obvious that the theory applied. A little "Frankenstein Monster Effect" from DM was enough for me to realize where this was all headed. So the reports that were written that show he continued to browbeat and bully for 25 more years made me all the happier that I left when I did. Thank you all for helping expose what is going on which is just continuous criminal acts."

  ###

"Reading your site today. All of it resonated. Especially 'Common Sense' where I had a grief charge; the first in 20 years. A good thing. So much suppressed for so long. It was a wonderful Remedy M."

"Your website was the first one I dared to look at after leaving the SO and it was my springboard to looking. Thank you as my life has truly been different since then." – George

I recently have unofficially left the church and have experienced great relief to find others who have seen what I have.
I am still connected for reasons of my own and have no real horror stories to share, but the realities of the out tech, the constant pressure to reg or be regged for everything under the sun, the (what I call) blanket tipping of Golden Age of Tech Courses, Lectures, and Basics, that all members are supposed to drop anything else they are doing and get the lectures, books, etc. done, etc.
I was in shock to find out about the abuses of Int staff, yet it was no surprise.
I am grateful to know that there are others out there like me...still connected, but no longer active and contributing to what I consider an enormous hoax at this point - I am an independent Scientologist, and have connected with some freezoners and others who have left the fold.
I hope to be able to completely free myself of the connections soon and share my sentiments with some who are (still) my friends in the church.
Thanks you all for putting this all together and contributing to this movement to free Scientology of this dictator.

If you plan on staying in, I suggest that you never mention your connection to Freezoners. I know from experience that tech outside the church can be standard and much better than what is inside, but the DSA will instantly declare you suppressive if he finds out you have been associating with Freezoners.

Lisa McPherson's Demise
