Jeff Walker was a former high ranking Scientology Technical Executive - Senior Case Supervisor International - who decided in 1991 to leave the Sea Organization and Scientology by escaping from the secret desert location at Gilman Hot Springs, California.

Karen de la Carriere joins Mark Fisher and Janis Gillham Grady to discuss the various Auditor (Counselor) Training Levels from Class 0 all the way up to Class 12 - the highest level - and how it is set up to control people receiving the counseling.

Karen also discusses what happened to Hubbard's eldest son - Quentin Hubbard - who she was friends with and who ended his life in somewhat mysterious circumstances in the late 1970s.

Mitch Brisker and Jeffrey Augustine interview ex-Scientologist and actor Larry Anderson.

When he was in Scientology, Larry was personally selected by Church leader David Miscavige to be the lead in the film "Orientation."

The treatment for the film was written by L. Ron Hubbard and it was Director Mitch Brisker's task to get it onto film. David Miscavige personally supervised every detail of the film and worked very closely with Mitch doing so.

In the film, Larry walks viewers through a Scientology Org, talks to various Sea Org members, and describes why Scientology is a religion.

The climax of the film occurs when Larry utters the infamous words that you can choose not to join Scientology and you also jump off a bridge or blow your brains out.

The film is required viewing before anyone can do any services the Church of Scientology and Jeffrey Augustine explains. After viewing the film, a person who wants to do anything further with Scientology must sign a contract attesting that they have seen the film and agree that Scientology is a religion. 

The contract is on the Scientology Money Project along with the three other intake contracts Scientology requires new members to sign.

After watching the film, new Scientologists must sign a contract stating they have seen the film and agree that Scientology is a religion.

This is the first of four membership contracts all Scientologists must sign which systematically strip them of their civil and legal rights.

In the 1996 version, the film's narrator declared that you could join Scientology or walk away from it -- and if you chose to walk away you could also jump off a bridge or blow your brains out.

L. Ron Hubbard scripted the 1996 film when he was alive. Typical of Hubbard's work, he created a false sense of danger in which Scientology or unaliving one's self were the only possible options.

In this video, Mitch shows a letter written to him by David Miscavige who praised the Orientation film as the greatest film ever made.

The Sea Org is designed to enlist maximum production from staff for minimum pay and no benefits.  Even after serving a brutal schedule of 20, 30, 40 years there is no pension, no retirement benefits, no 501 K and no medical coverage. In this 10 minute clip, Rachael, an Ex Sea Org member who ended up being David Miscavige's personal photographer  tells us what happened after weeks of sleep deprivation.

Scientology has for decades used covert bribery and corruption sometimes clandestine, sometimes out in the open. These illicit activities involve the 'safe pointing' - exchange of favours, gifts, or money with the aim of influencing decision-makers or gaining unfair advantages. It is Quid pro quo in the hope for safety and safe passage in return.
