FormerSea Org member Maureen Bolstad describes her experienced the Church of Scientology's controversial Purification Rundown. A Medical Doctor signs off that the person can do the Purif, but then, Sea Org members or staff supervise it. .Purification Rundown requires a person to be in a dry sauna five hours per day. A person must also take increasingly high daily doses of niacin until they reach a 5,000mg maximum.

I have heard from some credible sources that there is an insistence on continuing the Purif at 5000 Niacin for some time before a person can attest they are done. This is a Miscavige Order. Often OT VIIIs who have done all the levels are re-cyled to re-do their Purifs.

What "church" encourages a husband to snitch on wife, and wife on husband? And, get this, have them pay, $$$$$ high $$$$ for every hour of questioning and confessing such questions tailor made based on the report?

Scientology Inc has always been the 3rd party in the bedroom and the intervening party between husband and wife.

But the culture of husband and wife snitching on each other is one of the most abhorrent policies.

The Church is a Church that wants data on everyone for its very organized Intelligence machine

It is all too common for a wife to report the husband for reading the Internet. or even for visiting porn sites.

There isn't even a pretense that this confessional auditing is for "case gain" or spirituality.

I recall with affection an old and wonderful man called Marshall Goldblatt, often nicknamed "The Godfather" of the "Church," purely out of his massive donations. Every single day of his life calls from Scientology Inc to give money. He was Mr Gotbucks and the Church went into overdrive to get that money.

But she questioned the leadership and says she was brutally punished for it

She claims she was made to run 12 hours a day for three months and was 'imprisoned' in 'The Hole' and had to chip paint off a metal pole day after day

She was married to its President. She held a level of 'enlightenment' and a rank within its organization shared by only a handful of others. She was one of its 'rock stars'.

But when she left in 2010 she was branded a 'Suppressive Person', cast out, harassed and cut off from her son so completely that, when he died in 2012, she learned of his passing via a Facebook posting by a stranger.

Now, for the first time, she has given her full, personal and excoriating account and shared a treasure trove of previously unseen pictures from her years inside the notoriously secretive organization.

Karen never witnessed any acts of violence through the years, but there was talk and Miscavige was someone she feared.

By the time he took over she was working in LA as Heber's assistant. She was in the office when, one day she was summoned without warning by Miscavige.

She will never forget the look in his eyes that day. It was 'just cold, cold steel,' she said.

He didn't shout, he showed no emotion or empathy at all. Instead he calmly told how she was to 'hit the decks'.

With those three words he brought Karen down to the 'lowest of the low', she said, and condemned her to the most brutal treatment in the name of spiritual cleansing.

Her crime was to gossip about two senior members of the executive who had been removed from their posts. She had shared information she had no business sharing, she said, and was told that this was the reason behind the punishment that followed.

The video is not a debate on whether there is or is not a God. It is about Scientology Inc evasiveness on admission that it is Church without a God.

I am in touch with so many who served the Church 20 years, 30 years, 40 years and exited. They are in very very rough shape, mentally, emotionally, spiritually.

The *Church* that was supposed to make them higher and enlightened spiritual beings battered , abused and clobbered them.
Some have PTSD symptoms from serving in the Sea Org with sleep deprivation and imprisonment.

And all along they were made to believe they were *saving* the planet ! Clearing the planet! Oh my.
