As bad as it is in the Sea Org, "Scientology clergy* who sign billion year contracts, believe they are elitist, claiming a special, exalted status for themselves actually having the idea that they are higher in superiority to non Scientology human beings.
The Sea Org and Scientology in general has a polarized us-versus-them mentality, which causes conflict with the wider society.
Because of this exalted status, the ends justify means and criminal acts are not criminal within their frame of reference.
Therefore escalating abuse, confinement, no human rights, lock down, no contact with outside world (or very restricted) ~~ why it is
is the "greatest good !"
